Having both their civil ceremony and church wedding on the same day – the latter taking place at more than 2100 meters above sea level – was quite extraordinary. Suzanne and Thijs took the ride up to the chapel in a private cable car equipped with music, chilled white wine and leather couches before descending half-way to celebrate their special day in an alpine restaurant in the midst of the Bernese Alps.
