Civil ceremonies often take place in historic rooms, but it’s rare that they take place in museums. The house of Conrad Ferdinand Meyer, one of the most important writers of 19th century Switzerland, is a museum where this is possible. The rear of the house opens out to a nice garden which can be used for toasts after the marriage. Buoyed by the good weather, Claudia and Sreejith started off their day here before moving on further south high above Lake Zurich for a relaxed reception with breathtaking views.

Zoe and Matt’s Wedding
It was a mystery to me how Zoe and Matt managed to look so great despite having celebrated into the small hours before their wedding day. Not to be outdone, the gorgeous location, the sunny blue sky, the touching ceremony and the beautifully lavish reception and dinner in the elegant venue all contributed to make their wedding a day so very memorable.
